Dental Hygienists

Suzie

Suzie is from Minneapolis, MN. Her career began in 1976 working in private practice as a Certified and Registered Dental Assistant. She worked in the General Practice Residency program at the University of Minnesota Dental School. From 1986-1992, she taught Dental Assisting at Moorhead Technical College in Moorhead MN. She attended Century College in White Bear Lake, MN, completing her degree in Dental Hygiene (1996). She joined Bassett Creek Dental in 1996.

Suzie is married to Kevin and has two children Calvin and Erin. She enjoys running, biking, walking her dog, skiing, yoga, gardening, and volunteering.

Jaime

Jaime grew up in northern Michigan and received her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. Following college, she practiced dental hygiene in Milwaukee for a year before moving to the Twin Cities.

She lives in Rockford, MN, with her husband and two children. Jaime enjoys walking, kayaking, scrap booking, and spending time with friends and family.

Kelly

Kelly is from Golden Valley, MN and attended Argosy University where she received her Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene. Kelly has practiced dental hygiene since 2011 in Golden Valley, MN and Boston, MA. She joined Basset Creek Dental in 2016 and currently resides in Plymouth with her husband and infant son. She enjoys being a mom, exercising, wine-tasting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jenna

Jenna earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2021, along with her Master of Dental Therapy in 2022 through the dual degree program at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She joined Bassett Creek Dental in 2021 and now practices full time as a dental hygienist. 

In her free time Jenna enjoys walking, drinking coffee, being outside, spending time with friends and biking throughout the city trails visiting fun food and drink stops along the way.

Andie

Andie joined our team after graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2022 with her Bachelor of Science degree. Minnesota born and raised, she grew up in Elk River and now resides in Maple Grove.

Family time is the best time for Andie. Her favorite role in life (outside of being a dental hygienist) is being an auntie, as her 2 older sisters both have young children. She also enjoys her time with friends & any time she can get up to the family cabin. Come in to see Andie & she’ll treat you like family!

Kayla

Kayla is from Necedah, Wisconsin. She’s a graduate as of 2022 from Minnesota State University, Mankato with her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene alongside her classmate, now coworker, Andie.

She lives in Minnesota with her husband and 2 cats. They enjoy going to the movies, bowling, and biking. Her favorite sports teams are the Packers and Maverick Hockey.

Barb

Barb grew up in Minneapolis and attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and received her Dental Hygiene Degree in 1990. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts in 1998 (from the University of St. Francis) Barb currently lives in New Brighton with her husband and has two sons. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for walks, spending time at the cabin, and gardening. 

Julie

Julie grew up in Golden Valley, MN. She left for college at the University of Dallas, where she earned her bachelors degree. Later on, she graduated from Dental hygiene school in 2019. Julie was a dental assistant for 5 years before becoming a dental hygienist, giving her a perspective of both sides of the office. She also served on her local dental hygiene association board for 5 years. She stayed in Texas for 14 years and is happy to be back in Minnesota close to family! Julie has a husband and one son. She loves spending time with family, going on walks, and has a talent for painting.
