About Dr. Bruning
Dr. Bruning attended Northwestern University for her pre-dental education and obtained a B.A. in psychology. In 1991, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. She then returned to Chicago to continue formal training in the General Practice Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bruning joined Bassett Creek Dental in October, 1994.
Dr. Bruning is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Northside Dental Study Club and the Academy of Computerized Dentistry.
Dr. Bruning is originally from Iowa and now resides in Minneapolis with her husband Todd, sons Jake and Peter, and their dog. She spends her free time volunteering at school and church, running, skiing, and biking.

About Dr. Mahabadi
Dr. Mahabadi attended the University of North Texas for her pre-dental education and obtained a B.A. in Biology in 1996. In the year 2000 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. She then moved to Los Angeles, California to continue formal training in the Advanced General Dentistry residency at UCLA.
Dr. Mahabadi joined Bassett Creek Dental in July of 2001. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and now resides in Plymouth with her husband Mick and her 3 children. She enjoys jogging, kick boxing, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

About Dr. Steele
Dr. Steele received a B.A. degree in Biology from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1997. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Steele entered private practice in Maplewood, Minnesota. He joined Bassett Creek Dental in 1999.
Dr. Steele is a member of the Northside Dental Society, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Steele is originally from LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and he is an avid Packer and Badger fan. He now lives in Edina with his wife Julie, son Colin and daughter Susannah. He enjoys triathlons, golf, and traveling with his family.

About Dr. Wesley
Dr. Wesley received a B.A. in Psychology from Northwestern University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. She completed a general practice residency at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center where she gained additional skills and experience in treating complex dental cases.
Dr. Wesley is originally from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In her free time she enjoys fishing, quilting, skiing, and golfing.

About Dr. Avendano
Dr. Avendano received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota and earned his D.M.D. from Boston University. He received his GPR certificate from Hennepin County Medical Center, where he received extensive training in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Avendano continues to stay up to date with new technology and procedures by regularly pursuing continuing education. Dr. Avendano is Invisalign certified and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Avendano’s family is originally from Chile, and he is fluent in Spanish. He loves the outdoors, playing hockey, and watching Minnesota sports.

About Dr. Rieke
Dr. Rieke completed his pre-dental studies at the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Duluth and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1997. He continued his formal training in a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center. He practiced in the Twin Cities as a general dentist before returning to the U of M for specialty training in Periodontology.
Dr. Rieke is originally from Roseville where he currently resides with his wife and daughter. They enjoy spending time exercising and swimming at the YMCA.
